    I spent too much time in drought ridden areas to EVER mind the rain. And I love the scent of rain washed air.

    1. Because it is so flat, and therefore our horizon is so big we do get to see a lot of the sky. Not always as impressive as this though. We don’t tend to have days of drizzly weather rather just rain bands as a front comes through. Living where we do we don't get a lot of rain to start with so every bit is very much appreciated.
