  2. I saw two killed on suburban roads with 50 km/h limits. By what feathers I could see, they were young, not yet having developed bright white colouring. Poor ole maggies.

  5. This is such a pretty image....the wispy grass really adds so much interest to the photograph. It's a beautiful bird, I have never seen one!!

  6. We don't have them on the wet side of the Cascades, but I love seeing them on our trips to the dry side. People there hang houses for them all over.

  8. I wondered what this was...glad someone said it was the magpie. And to think, I know I have looked them up before but just did not come to me. Sure is beautiful.
