The everyday of our family farm
And what a generous reward it was.
Glorious! I assume that is rice growing. Curious also to know what your shift entailed?
No, not rice. We don't grow rice on our farm as the soils are not suitable. This is actually seedling lucerne getting it's first watering. My shift entailed riding out to the paddock on the motorbike, getting bogged, trying to pull it out of the bog, succeeding, changing the bays that are irrigating, setting up timers for irrigating throughout the night so I don't have to go out again until the next morning.
I hadn't had time to read the comment you left on the post, re 'What is growing here?' My goodness another activity in your busy schedule.Life on the farm is never dull. Poor you getting bogged! I hope you managed to get a full night's sleep.
Gorgeous pink-edged clouds!
WOW! Now that is a spectacular reward.
