The 2018 Farm-ily Calendar has arrived!

This is the fifth Farm-ily calendar and each year it is always fun to narrow down my hundreds of photos for the year to just thirteen. And this one has come up a treat I think…. but then I might be a bit biased.

If you are after a uniquely Australian rural calendar, featuring photos from a farm in the Riverina, NSW then this is the one for you!

You can purchase the calendars online via our daughter’s online store: Little Brick Pastoral. Whilst there check out the super cute Lego Farmer calendar and cards.

Alternatively you can email me: farm-ily@live.com.au or send me a message via Facebook.

Locally the calendar can be purchased at Daisy Mae’s in Finley or at the Tocumwal Post Office.

Not what we want to see in the ripening wheat but hopefully there is enough birds and spiders around to keep these armyworms in check.

This paddock of new lucerne needs a drink - but what is interesting in this photo is the stripes running vertically up the paddock through some very sandy soil. We deep ripped with a tyne spacing of 50cm & you can tell those lines by the plant colour & vigour.

Dig up some of those plants and the contrast is really obvious.

All those windrows are made up of an incredible thick mat of intertwined clover plants.
Mowing was a challenge… so will be the raking and baling.
