Trucking out 2016 season lower grade oaten hay.

Baled December 2016, stacked using Hay Caps on top & ground sheet on bottom the day it was baled. 730mm rain over 16 months since.

Coming out beautiful!

  4. Impressive!
Curious yet again - was it maturing from Dec 16, or just waiting to be sold?

    1. Hay is right to be feed out to stock the day that it is baled as is fully cured before it is baled. So yes, it was just waiting for the right market for sale. There was an oversupply of cereal hay made in 2016 throughout SE Australia, so the lower grades have a taken a while to shift.
