Lucerne (alfalfa) is a perennial crop, so we are able to cut for hay many times over 5 years before it needs to be ploughed in and a break crop planted. This is our last cut for the season. Lucerne is quite dormant over winter so it doesn't grow much now until Spring.CountryMumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14761724941259576940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6237865919006017597.post-76960355218389380892016-04-29T10:28:04.684+10:002016-04-29T10:28:04.684+10:00And does the ploughing then begin? And does the ploughing then begin?Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04051160693725705930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6237865919006017597.post-77201087799970414542016-04-29T00:24:35.730+10:002016-04-29T00:24:35.730+10:00Farming just never ends, do you ever get a holiday...Farming just never ends, do you ever get a holiday :-) DianeRhodesiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00159888599601532530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6237865919006017597.post-84380907232148971082016-04-28T23:21:46.811+10:002016-04-28T23:21:46.811+10:00The perfect shot!!The perfect shot!!Montanagirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16428565909247665015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6237865919006017597.post-44964122100205466532016-04-28T17:12:32.238+10:002016-04-28T17:12:32.238+10:00Lovely and green.
