    1. I'll admit it did take me a while to appreciated that flat landscape. My childhood was spent on a dairyfarm with rolling hills and valleys. Now I can't see myself living anywhere else. The seemingly never ending horizon and big sky, the sunrises & sunsets, the stars at night... it really does grow on you.

    2. I should have added big skies to my list Lynda. I haven't lived in a city (which was by the sea) since I was in my early 20s and when I visit friends in towns now it is the lack of big skies that I notice most.

  9. Lovely skies...a hint of rain to come? We have had such a long spell of rain and this week has been so nice. But more rain is forecast to start today.
