Pink sunrise.

Yesterday’s incredible pink rainbow in the western sky was all because of this spectacular pink sunrise in the eastern sky.

This morning’s pink rainbow. 

This was just incredible.... I didn't know you could get a pink rainbow and was blown away when I walked out the back door just before sunrise. The photo is not real great, but you get the idea!

It’s that time of year again - National Bird Week. So early this morning I counted birds for the Aussie Backyard Bird Count, doing my bit to help Birdlife Australia. All you need is 20 minutes and it is not too late to join.

For the record this year I counted 18 species of birds, 39 birds in total,
including this little Superb Fairy-wren.
