I need to take a bit of a break from the daily photos.
It’s been an incredible journey that started back on January 1, 2013 as a year-long personal challenge to capture the beauty in each day on the farm… and it just kept going. But after 8 years & over 2,900 posts I need to stop for a bit.
Thank you all for being part of this journey. I am truly honoured by the level of interest in the day-to-day happenings on our farm. Never in my wildest dreams did I foresee that my photos would touch so many people from all over world.
Thank you xx
It's been a wonderful experience for me as a person brought up on the land but now thoroughly cityfied. It strikes me as being quite an education for people in other countries. I'm sure we all hope to see you back soon. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break.
ReplyDeleteLike Andrew I do hope that we see you back again.
Take care.
Thank you for showing us your daily life on the farm through her photos which were and are so amazing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break a way and hopefully you will return renewed and ready to show us so much more through your gifts.
I came across your blog by accident a few years ago. All the best and thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have checked your photos everyday and liked seeing farm activities in Australia. Enjoy your break but please come back.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed your photos but I can understand your need for a break. I shall be here when you return (God willing!).
ReplyDeleteI agree with others. Enjoy a well deserved break, but do come back. Your pictures are awesome.

ReplyDeleteLynda, I hope you will return, but since I post a picture everyday, I am completely sympathetic-- and I'm retired have have the time. Thanks for what you do. A break is deserved!
ReplyDeleteDear Linda, I wil be lost not seeing your increible photography and life on the farm each day. I have been in awe that you have been able to post such quality continuously, given your busy farm days. Finally, ditto each of the comments above.
ReplyDeleteThank you for a glimpse of your world.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful that your daily photos have served as a connection between a farm in Australia and a farm in Kansas. I've been amazed at the similarities I've been able to experience through your camera lens. I am thankful for a friendship formed across the miles. My best to you and yours during this break. I certainly understand.
