The everyday of our family farm
Quite a few.What is it?
It is urea which is a nitrogen based fertilizer that we are using to topdress our wheat and oats.
I will not be picking up the blue shovel. Sorry..I'm curious too.Is it sugar? Salt? Some illegal white narcotic substance which really shouldn't be left laying around in full view?Giving it a little more thought, I'll settle for plain old super.Alphie
Ha ha.... you were very, very close Alphie. In fact it is urea.
I am also intrigued by what it is I can only think fertilizer! Cheers Diane
Love the contrast of soil and sky.
Incredible colour contrasts.
That sure is white!!! NICE colors in the picture.
Lime? Fertilizer? Curious minds want to know.
Urea, so yes a fertiliser.
looks like a fair bit
I haven’t heard the term”top dress” in a long time. I am an old southern Iowa boy. I have been gone from the farm for so long that I didn’t know that the product was created.
