A sombre day.

  1. I had someone from Australia send me an email. She had randomly come across my blog when she Googled a poem I'd used in a post. I steered her your direction, giving her your blog address so she could see the beautiful photos you post every day. Then she wrote back to me about the tragedy in Australia with the shootings. As I told her, it seems that the world is full of these "bad news" stories. That makes me appreciate even more the people who fill the world with beauty. Thanks for being a positive "eye" in the world, Lynda.

    1. Thank you Kim. That is so very nice of you. You are way too kind, but I do really appreciate that you like seeing my daily photos.

You made my day with you kind words.

  2. I love this picture, great photography ! Those leaves kind of look like the mesquite trees around here.

    1. Thanks Vickie. The tree is a peppercorn tree, that is not native to Australia but introduced from South America many years ago as an ornamental evergreen tree.
