    1. Yes it did have a little irrigation water... not as much as we would have liked though due to the season, so there was a much lower yield than normal.

    1. Yes we do. We try an get away for a couple of weeks during Winter. That is the plan anyway... it doesn't always eventuate for one reason or another.

    1. No, not on this paddock. Lucerne (alfalfa) is a perennial crop, so we are able to cut for hay many times over 5 years before it needs to be ploughed in and a break crop planted. This is our last cut for the season. Lucerne is quite dormant over winter so it doesn't grow much now until Spring.
