Green, green grass of home.

  1. Wow. Much greener, and longer, than the grass here.

    1. Our climate is not as cold as yours so we generally get some good winter growth. This year with all the rain the grass and crops have been jumping out of the ground.

  2. Wish ours was green, it looks like a fire has swept through the grass here it is so dry!!! Water restrictions already apply in some places and they are sure to get worse if we do not get rain soon. It is either too much or non at all! Have a good day Diane.

    1. What a contrast to our season at the moment... albeit half way round the world from you. We have had a bumper of a winter with much rain.

  3. I could not quite believe how green the country was when travelling out your way. Is it usually as green at that at this time of year? Even though we have had rain it isn't Irish green here.

    1. Yes, is usually green, but this year the growth has been more because of the rain. And the good season is wide spread according to the many farmers that I am talking to each day from SA, Vic, NSW and southern QLD. It is wonderful season across much of SE Australia.

  6. The grass here in the Hebrides has gone mad this summer with all the rain and the balmy mid-teen temperatures!
