Rain evaporating in the heat before it hits the ground... which is called Virga apparently.

  1. Virga sounds like rather a lot of other words that would have this post sent to my spam folder, but it didn't. Virga can be such a tease as it can show up as decent rain on rain radar.

  3. What spectacular colour in that cloud! And the rain doesn't reach the ground. Spit and curse. On reflection maybe the good people of Tocumwal would not stoop to such crass behaviour...
