They are such prehistoric looking birds, and I always welcome seeing them.
By himself, but contented.

A wonderful bird is the pelican.Its beak can hold more than its bellycan.

He doesn't look too worried to be by himself.
Oh well, that's what they do and at least it's by the water there...maybe a fish it thinks.Nice capture.
They do look a bit like pterodactyls when they fly over. That one is quite handsome.
Our pelicans migrate through and sometimes we do just see one of them off away form the others. Our pelicans are all white and not so fancy looking.
