The everyday of our family farm
Not for a long time have we been so reliant on our rural producers.
For a while I have been banging on about our country’s lack of concern for food security. And here we are. Sadly we will actually run out of rice this year, fresh milk is safe but only just & we started importing wheat last year. These are three staples that are important in food security. I think when this is all done we need to take a good look at what is important to us as a nation and put food production right up there.
Andrew is right. And yes we ARE enjoying your photos.
Thank you Sue 😊
I ALWAYS enjoy your photos. My biggest problem is that there are only so many superlatives one can use before it becomes repetitive and trite. Please don't stop, though.
Thanks Graham, you are way too kind. And no, I won't stop 😊
Not just Australia, the whole world needs to take a good look. But I fear that the turn to nationalism and tribalism will mean... I watch our Orange Idiot and his enablers doing virtually nothing to stem the tide, and I am fearful. Graham (above) echos my thoughts. My constant superlatives need revising. Perhaps I should give a number score. Today's is a 10!
In the vein of Graham and Bill, I'll go for VHD.
Love those silhouettes.
Such a nice photo, I feel good when I come here
This is certainly a great photo.
With beauty like this, of course I enjoy your pictures. keep them coming.
Your photos are lovely, and your thoughts are spot on with food security. Take care.
Please keep posting, Dolly and I love seeing what's going on in your little corner of the world.
