The everyday of our family farm
Amazing photo. Curiosity has me. What is being spread?
Thanks Sue. This is lime. It can only be spread when it is dead calm or it goes everywhere.
What a clean machine or machines. Wonderful light and contrast.
Like he said, wonderful light and contrast-- also the composition as a whole.
Great shot of farm life. Well done. Have a great weekend. Diane
Nice photo - perfect caption.
Lime to condition the soil for what? Another great glimpse of your farm life!
Glad you are enjoying the photos. This paddock we are sowing to lucerne (alfalfa) and lime helps to neutralise the soil acidity and provide calcium.
And the work never ends. My brother used to deliver and spread lime...at least I am pretty sure he spread it. This has been years ago.
ps...I put a pic up on Time Stand Still that you might like.
I love all the different skies you seem to capture. Beautiful.
