Probus is a worldwide club for retired or semi-retired business or professional people. Started in the UK in the 60's I do believe. Husband was guest speaker at a local club's monthly meeting.
The bus tours were part of the Murray Darling Association's Annual Conference regional study tour day. MDA covers 14% of Australia's land mass and encompasses 187 shire councils. Their annual conference was held locally, and we were asked to give a brief roadside tour & talk on each bus about our place and what we do.
Which is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know what probus is, but a tour sounds fun!

DeleteIt's great you can get out to go to Probus and a tour...
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what Probus talk is...but sounds like you have given a talk. Is the tour bus coming to your place...sounds busy.

ReplyDeleteNo not me personally.... I leave all the talking to my darling husband!!
DeleteI had to come back and see if someone explained what probus talk was...interesting. Spell check keeps correcting the word!
ReplyDeleteI was also glad to read the comments and learn a little more about your part of the world!
