The everyday of our family farm
What a great shot. Hope all is well Diane
They are such graceful birds - on the water at any rate.
The beak is humongous!
Yes the pelican does have a very large beak. There is a children's song that goes along the lines of:The pelican’s beak holds more than its belly can,Nothing has a beak that’s the size of the pelican’s.
I saw some pelicans flying around the Quivira refuge when I delivered Randy to the combine, but they didn't pose for me. Lucky you!
Oh I have never seen one of them it is truly beautiful. Hug B
Nice capture of the pelican reflection!
The ducks and the pelican--- what a nice shot.
I always wonder does their bill ever get heavy...it just looks so huge and like it would get in the way.
LOVE that pelican!
