The everyday of our family farm
Challenging on some of our narrower country roads I expect.
its that time of the year..........bring on harvest.......
Is that a requirement there?
Yes, escort at the front with signage and flashing light is required. Machine also has to have signage front & back and flashing lights. It is not essential to have the escort at the back but it had to come through 2 towns, across a state border and over bridges across a flooded river so it was just for extra awareness.
I really like the emblem on the the front of the vehicle... Nice shot.
A Toyota fan are you Bill...
So where do I pull over too or is it a matter of backing up?
Pull over to the side of the road. Depending on the width of the machine and the condition of the edge of the road the driver of the wide load may also be able to pull over so allow you to drive past safely.
Glad I was not driving the other way :-) Diane
I always admired the drivers and their escorts who used to move entire houses along New Zealand's single carriageway State Highways.
