The everyday of our family farm
Butter factory, a memory from the distant past.
That is a very long time to remain in business, even with a change of name/ownership.
Milk or butter hasn't been processed here for about 30 years. At some point the Berriquin Cooperative joined with Murray Goulburn Cooperative (Devondale). Unfortunately, like many Australian companies, Murray Goulburn was sold to an overseas buyer last year. MG Trading is now owned by Saputo, the huge Canadian milk company. The newer shed in the photo is now their rural supply store. The original factory is empty.
Love comparison photos! Great ones!
