Photo taken yesterday (Sunday) upstream between Tocumwal & Echuca at what's known as The Choke. It's a natural constraint in the river & the limiting factor for how much water they can push down the river without continually flooding the forest. During natural flood events the water goes overbank and through the forest but you can't do that continually.
Lots of water, at least!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the Mighty Murray but Echuca wharf level not high.
