A new little bird to add to my list – a White-winged Triller

  1. I've probably seen most of the birds in the UK so when I lived in New Zealand it was a wonderful bird experience. Then I visited Australia and there were lots more. I've never seen this bird (or hundreds of other Australasian birds) but it really is thrilling when one sees a new one for the first time.

  4. It is new to me too - of I haven't recognised it. Either are possibilities. Thank you.

  7. By some coincidence the mystery bird call on RN Sunday Extra program today was the White-winged Triller. Now I know what it looks like and what it sounds like. Quite the chatterer. A week ago I didn't know it existed!
